- Combine oats, walnuts, raisins, and salt in a bowl and mix well.
- In a separate container combine water and vanilla. Combine all ingredients, stirring gently.
- Pour into oiled 8- by 8-inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 min. Stir in dates and serve.
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
