Baked Polenta With Mushrooms

Ingredientes

  • 6 c. Polenta, cooked
  • 1 x Garlic clove, quartered
  • 2 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lb Mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. Basil, minced
  • 1 pch Dry red pepper flakes Salt & pepper Preheat oven to 350F.

Direcciones

  1. Spoon polenta into an oiled 8" X 12" baking dish & set aside.
  2. Saute/fry garlic in extra virgin olive oil over medium-low heat till garlic begins to brown. About 5 min. Remove garlic with a slotted spoon & throw away. Add in mushrooms & saute/fry in flavoured oil till they soften.
  3. They will only need 5 min or possibly so. Stir in the basil, red pepper, salt & pepper. Spread proportionately over prepared polenta & bake for 15 min. Serve warm.
