Baked Spaghetti

My husband's new favorite meal. Time consuming but worth it!

Ingredientes

  • 8 oz angel hair pasta
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp Lawry's Seasoning Salt
  • 16 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 c water
  • 16 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 cup monterey jack cheese, grated
  • 2 bay leaves

Direcciones

  1. In a large pot, combine tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, onions, garlic, parsley, sugar, bay leaves, white pepper, oregano, basil and seasoning salt.
  2. Bring to a boil over high heat.
  3. Reduce heat to simmer and cover for 1 hour.
  4. Cook the ground beef in large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Drain and hide to tomato sauce mixture.
  6. Simmer for 20 more minutes.
  7. Cook the pasta according to package directions. (about 6 minutes)
  8. Preheat over to 350 degrees.
  9. Remove bay leaves from sauce.
  10. In a 9 x 13 inch baking dish layer 1/3 of the sauce, 1/2 the pasta, 1/3 cheese.
  11. Repeat again and top with remaining sauce.
  12. Bake for 30 minutes.
  13. Tope with remaining cheese and cook for 5 more minutes.
