Baked Spare Ribs with Apple Stuffing

Ingredientes

  • 2 Spare Rib sections – about 2 pounds each
  • 2 C. Raisin bread, diced (about 4 slices)
  • 3 C. Apples, peeled and diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 t. Dry mustard
  • 1 T. Water
  • ½ C Maple syrup

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Dry ribs with a paper towel and remove membrane and discard.
  3. Place in roasting pan and bake for 30 minutes. Combine bread and apples.
  4. Remove from oven and reduce heat to 375 degrees.
  5. Discard fat from pan. Season ribs with salt and pepper. Place 1 strip of ribs in pan, hollow side up. Spoon bread and apples on it. Top with second strip, hollow side down. Bake an additional 1 ¼ hours.
  6. Dissolve mustard in water. Blend in syrup. Baste ribs several times with this mixture the last 20 minutes of baking.
  7. Makes 5 -6 servings.
