Receta Baked Stuffed Apples

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. wash and dry apples. Using a a potato peeler, cut band of peel from the middle circumference of the apple and, using apple corer, remove core from each apple.
- Make filling and small bowl by a mixing raises, dates, and cinnamon to combine. Place apples in lightly greased 8-in. square baking dish. Fill center of each with dry fruit mix. Top each with 1 tsp. margarine. Pour water to a depth of 1/4 in. around apples.
- Bake for 35 to 45 min till apples are tender but not collapsed.
- Add in more water during cooking process if baking dish looks dry. Serve hot or possibly chilled.
- Makes 4 servings.
- Note for brown backers: using broad spatula, lift apple to a deep hard container with tight- seal lid. Refrigerateovernight.
- Nutrition note: dry fruit contains sufficient natural sugar to Sweeten the apples. If you have a sweet tooth, do any or possibly all of the following:
- Substitute a sweet dessert apple such is Golden brown Delicious for the tart baking Apple.
- Add in between 1 to 2 Tbsp. sugar to the filling before stuffing apples.
