Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour sifted
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. bran
  • 1/2 c. minced nuts
  • 1/4 c. shortening melted
  • 1 1/2 c. bananas mashed (4-6)
  • 1 x egg

Direcciones

  1. Line the bottom of a loaf tin with waxed paper, grease paper.
  2. Sift first 5 ingredients together; add in bran and minced nuts.
  3. With a fork, mash the fully ripe bananas; measure.
  4. Mix shortening, banana and egg and beat thoroughly.
  5. Add in egg mix to dry ingredients and minimum mixing.
  6. Bake in a greased loaf tine at 325 to 350 for about an hour.
  7. NOTES : Because this is an old recipe, I now use soya oil, and I don't sift the flour, I also use a cake tester about 45 min to see if it is cooked, then every five min after which.
