Ingredientes

  • 12 oz margarine or butter
  • 25 oz sugar
  • 9 oz liquid eggs
  • 1/4 cup vanilla extract
  • 32 oz mashed over-ripe bananas
  • 2 lbs flour
  • 4 Tbsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 8 oz chopped nuts
  • 1 cup milk

Direcciones

  1. Cream sugar and margarine on medium speed with a paddle for 5 minutes.
  2. Scrape down the paddle and bowl.
  3. Add eggs and mix on high for 2 more minutes
  4. Scrape the paddle and bowl.
  5. Add the bananas and beat 1-2 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, have all dry ingredients mixed together, including chopped nuts.
  7. Alternately add the dry mix and milk, mixing on medium and scraping down the bowl to ensure everything gets well mixed.
  8. Once everything is in, mix for one more minute.
  9. In pans that have been greased, divide batter evenly.
  10. Bake in a 325 degree convection oven (or 350 conventional oven) for about 50-55 minutes.
  11. Test by inserting a toothpick into center- pick should be clean when removed.
  12. Note: Top of the loaf, when batter is wet, can be garnished with sesame seeds, crushed nuts, or sprinkled lightly with sugar.
