Receta Banana Cashew Cake
Banana Cashew Cake Recipe
A simple to make delicious cake with bananas and cashew nuts. Ideal for any occasion.
Ingredients:
- Maida (Plain Flour) – 500 gms
- Sugar – 2 cups, powdered
- Butter – 500 gms
- Brown Sugar – 2 cups
- Eggs – 8 to 10, beaten
- Bananas – 10 to 12, peeled and mashed
- Cashew Nuts – 2 cups
- Banana Essence – 1 tsp
- Vanilla Essence – 1/2 tsp
- Baking Powder – 4 tsp
- Cooking Soda – 1 tsp
- Milk – 1/2 cup, warm
- Raisins – 1/4 to 1/2 cup (optional)
Method:
1. Sieve together the baking powder, cooking soda and maida 3 to 4 times.
2. Mix the sugar and butter in a bowl.
3. Add the brown sugar, eggs and banana essence to the bowl.
4. Add the bananas and mix well.
5. Gradually add the maida and mix.
6. Add the warm milk and mix well.
7. Pour this into a greased cake tin lined with parchment paper.
8. Place the cake tin into a preheated oven at 200C and bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
9. Remove and cool.
10. Cut into slices and serve.
