Receta Banana Chocolate Mousse
by Anncoo

I'm sure everyone loves chocolate mousse as they are great for entertaining and can be served into individual cups. Just before the weekend, I made this simply balance flavoured, chocolate mousse with some leftover overly ripe mashed bananas and layered with chocolate ganache cream. This is a very quick and simple dessert and no eggs are needed. The plus point is that it can be made one to two days ahead. You can also garnish it with some chopped nuts or berries before serving.

Banana Chocolate Mousse

Boil 60g of whipping cream and measure to 40g before adding into chocolate pieces and blend well with a hand whisk over a double boiler. Stir chocolate and vanilla extract to smooth and leave to cool.

Whisk fresh cream to soft peak.

Blend or mash bananas to smooth and mix with the chocolate till combined.

Whisk fresh topping cream to soft peak and pour into chocolate mixture and blend well with a hand whisk.

Assemble

Place chocolate ganache and chocolate mousse into individual piping bag. Fill equal amounts of chocolate mousse into each serving cups and top with layer of chocolate ganache. Repeat to pipe the chocolate mousse mixture and chocolate ganache cream to 2 to 3 layers.

Chill the dessert for few hours or till next day and decorate as desire.

Enjoy!
