Ingredientes

  • 2 c. skim lowfat milk
  • 4 x Large eggs separated
  • 4 pkt artificial sweetener
  • 1 tsp banana extract
  • 1 x banana sliced
  • 2 pkt unflavored gelatin
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Direcciones

  1. Sprinkle gelatin in 3/4 c. cool lowfat milk. Heat remaining lowfat milk. Add in gelatin mix and stir over low heat till dissolved. Beat egg yolks, add in to warm mix stirring constantly. When mix thickens, add in sweetener. Remove from stove. Add in vanilla and banana flavoring. Pour half of filling in 8 inch pie plate. Place sliced bananas on top. Cover with rest of filling.
  2. Meringue: Beat egg whites till frothy. Add in 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar, 1 tsp. vanilla. Add in 4 packs of artificial sweetener, 1/4 tsp. nutmeg and beat. Beat till stiff. Pile on top of banana filling. Put under broiler 1 to 2 min till golden.
  3. Chill 4 hrs before serving.
