Receta Bananas Foster
This recipe is perfect for entertaining. It can be made before your guests arrive and cook while you and your guests visit. It is a delicious and impressive dessert to serve.
- 5 medium banana's
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup Pecan Liqueur or rum
- 1 t vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans
- 1/3 cup flaked coconut
- Vanilla Ice Cream
- Sliced Pound Cake
Cut bananas in half lengthwise, then width-wise; layer in the bottom of a 1-1/2 quart slow cooker. With a wire whisk combine the packed brown sugar, melted butter, liqueur and vanilla extract. Pour over bananas in slow cooker. Cook on low for 2 hours. Sprinkle the chopped pecans and coconut over bananas in slow cooker. Cover and cook 1/2 hour longer or until heated through.
