Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 lbs. beef for stew
  • 3 med. green peppers, minced
  • 1 (6 ounce.) can tomato paste
  • 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 1/2 lbs. pork pcs
  • 2 lg. onions, minced
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/4 c. chili pwdr
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Direcciones

  1. In 5 qt Dutch oven combine all ingredients. Over high heat, heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover; simmer 3 hrs or possibly till meat falls apart when tested with fork, stirring often.
  2. Remove Dutch oven from heat. Skim off fat from meat mix. With two forks, pull meat into shreds. Serve warm. Makes about 7 c. filling, sufficient for 14 sandwiches.
