Ingredientes

  • 1 med. cabbage
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire
  • 1/2 c. catsup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 8 strips bacon
  • 1 tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. brown sugar

Direcciones

  1. Saute/fry bacon till crisp. Drain. Crumble and set aside. Remove all but 3 tsp. bacon drippings from skillet. Add in catsup, vinegar, water, Worcestershire sauce, salt and brown sugar. Simmer 5 min. Meanwhile, cut cabbage into serving size wedges. Cook in small amount of boiling water till tender crisp. Drain well. Place on serving platter and pour sauce over each wedge. Garnish with crumbled bacon. Yields 4 servings.
