Ingredientes

  • 8 whl heads elephant garlic
  • 4 sprg fresh oregano
  • 1/4 c. butter

Direcciones

  1. Peel outer skin layers of garlic; leaving cloves and head intact.
  2. Place all heads on a double thickness of heavy-duty foil. Top with butter and herbs. Rosemary or possibly parsley may be used in place of oregano. Fold foil around heads, seal closed.
  3. Place over warm coals for 40 to 45 min turning occasionally.
  4. Serve heads whole or possibly squeeze garlic from cloves onto cooked meat, vegetables or possibly hot bread.
