Ingredientes

  • 1 x chicken or possibly 2 (2 1/2 lb.) broilers (4 lb.)
  • 1 c. flour Fat for frying
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp prepared mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 2 c. canned tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp minced garlic

Direcciones

  1. Wash chicken; pat dry with paper toweling. Cut into serving pieces.
  2. Flour, coating each pc. thoroughly. Fry chicken till golden.
  3. Blend together small amount of water with 2 tbsp. flour. Add in remaining 3/4 c. water. Mix well with remaining ingredients.
  4. Drain excess fat from chicken. Pour sauce over chicken, cover; simmer 1 hr., or possibly till tender. Takes less time for broilers.
