%20%20I%20ended%20up%20with%20a%20decent%20amount%20of%20leftover%20cooked%20brisket%20and%20decided%20to%20make%20a%20Poutine%20with%20it%20.%20.%20.%20%20but%20not%20just%20any%20Poutine,%20but%20a%20Barbeque%20Beef%20Poutine!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPoutine%20is%20a%20Canadian%20thing.%20%20It%20started%20off%20as%20just%20chips%20with%20gravy%20and%20cheese%20on%20top%20%20.%20.%20.%20%20but%20you%20know%20how%20it%20goes%20.%20.%20.%20%20it's%20a%20thing%20which%20can%20easily%20be%20adapted%20and%20switched%20up%20to%20incorporate%20a%20lot%20of%20flavours%20and%20ideas.%20%20I%20love%20my%20Hot%20Turkey%20Poutine,%20which%20is%20a%20regular%20around%20here%20after%20Christmas%20and%20Thanksgiving%20where%20I%20get%20to%20use%20my%20leftover%20turkey,%20stuffing%20and%20gravy.%20%20It's%20positively%20delicious%20and%20so%20is%20thiss%20Barbeque%20Beef%20version!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELeftover%20roast%20beef,%20simmered%20in%20a%20barbeque%20sauce%20and%20the%20spooned%20over%20chips%20and%20topped%20with%20cheese.%20%20I%20love%20the%20Newman's%20own%20BBQ%20sauces.%20%20I%20used%20a%20mixture%20of%20the%20Carolina%20BBQ%20Sauce%20and%20the%20Sweet%20Hickory%20Sauce.%20%20%20Beautiful%20combination%20with%20a%20bit%20of%20a%20bite.%20%20I%20loosened%20it%20with%20a%20bit%20of%20beef%20broth%20%20.%20.%20.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYou%20could%20make%20your%20own%20chips%20for%20this,%20or%20even%20use%20chips%20picked%20up%20at%20the%20chippie.%20%20I%20used%20a%20good%20quality%20oven%20chip.%20%20%20Cheese%20curds%20are%20not%20readily%20available%20over%20here,%20so%20do%20feel%20free%20to%20use%20them%20if%20you%20can%20get%20them.%20%20I%20used%20crumbled%20medium%20white%20cheddar%20cheese.%20%20This%20was%20fabulous.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E*Barbeque%20Beef%20Poutine*%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServes%204%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EA%20simple%20and%20delicious%20way%20to%20use%20up%20the%20leftovers%20from%20the%20Sunday%20Roast.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Edirections.%20%20While%20the%20chips%20are%20cooking%20combine%20the%20barbeque%20sauce%20and%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ebeef%20broth%20in%20a%20sauce%20pan%20and%20heat%20through.%20%20Add%20the%20cooked%20beef.%20%20Heat%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ethrough%20completely.%20%20Remove%20the%20chips%20from%20the%20oven.%20%20Spoon%20the%20Barbeque%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBeef%20over%20top%20and%20top%20with%20the%20cheese%20crumbles.%20%20%20Return%20to%20the%20oven%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Efor%20a%20few%20minutes%20to%20melt%20the%20cheese.%20%20%20Serve%20immediately%20to%20four%20very%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ehappy%20people!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20was%20really,%20REALLY%20good.%20I%20do%20hope%20that%20you%20will%20give%20it%20a%20go!%20%20You%20could%20just%20use%20half%20a%20pound%20of%20browned%20extra%20lean%20ground%20beef%20if%20you%20didn't%20have%20the%20leftover%20roast%20beef,%20and%20it%20would%20still%20be%20delicious!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
