Barbequed Steak

Ingredientes

  • 2 c. ketchup
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. minced green pepper
  • 1/2 c. minced onion
  • 3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp. mustard
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 pound round steak (1/2" thick)

Direcciones

  1. Combine all ingredients except steak in a saucepan. Bring to boil and simmer for 5 min. Keep sauce warm. Lb. round steak to break connective tissue or possibly get butcher to run through tenderizer at store. Cut into serving size portions.
  2. Place in 9 x 13 inch baking dish and pour sauce over meat. Cover tightly and bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2-2 hrs or possibly till meat is fork tender. Serve with rice. Makes 8-10 servings. Great company dish!
