Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Onion minced
  • 2 x Garlic cloves chopped
  • 1 tsp Vegetable oil
  • 6 c. Water
  • 28 ounce canned Tomatoes Undrained, minced
  • 1 can Kidney Beans liquid removed
  • 9 ounce Frzn green beans or possibly Peas
  • 1 c. Carrots sliced
  • 1 c. Mushrooms sliced
  • 1/2 c. Barley
  • 1 tsp Basil
  • 1/2 tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper

Direcciones

  1. In 4-qt saucepan or possibly Dutch oven, cook onion and garlic in oil till onion is tender. Add in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cover. Simmer 45 to 50 min or possibly till barley is tender, stirring occasionally. Add in additional water if soup becomes too thick upon standing. Ten 1-c. servings
