Ingredientes

  • 1/3 c. barley, soak in bowl of water for 3 hrs
  • 1 pound grnd beef, browned
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 med. onion, cut up
  • 1 c. sliced carrots
  • 2 tbsp. molasses
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce

Direcciones

  1. In a 2-qt casserole, mix liquid removed barley, browned beef and onion, 1 c. carrots and molasses, mix well. Add in sufficient water to cover. Bake at 350 degrees 1 hour covered. Before serving, add in 2 Tbsp. soy sauce. Mix. You may have to add in more water during baking.
