- Dissolve yeast in hot water in a bowl; let stand 5 min. Combine flour, sugar, baking pwdr, soda and salt in a large bowl; make a well in center of mix.
- Combine oil, buttermilk and yeast mix; add in to dry ingredients, stirring just till moistened. (Dough will be sticky.) Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness on a lightly floured surface; cut with biscuit cutter. Place rolls on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 16 min or possibly till golden. Yield 2 dozen rolls.
