Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Cornmeal
  • 1 c. Unbleached flour
  • 2 Tbsp. Granulated sugar
  • 4 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 x Egg white -- whipped
  • 1 c. Skim lowfat milk -- at room Temperature
  • 1/4 c. Applesauce -- at room Temperature
  • 3 Tbsp. Basil

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven at 350. Prepare a 8" square baking pan with cooking spray and flour. In a mixing bowl, combine cornmeal. flour, sugar, baking pwdr, salt, and pepper. In another mixing bowl, combine egg white, lowfat milk, applesauce, and basil. Mix dry ingredients with wet ingredients just till moistened. Spread batter into prepared pan. Bake for 18 to 22 min, or possibly till top is light golden brown.
