Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 cakes yeast
  • 1 1/2 c. hot water
  • 3 1/2 c. bread flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 2 (1 pound) can red sour pitted cherries
  • 4 c. sugar
  • 1 pound butter
  • 1 1/2 loaves bread

Direcciones

  1. Mix all ingredients and let rise covered for 1 hour in greased bread pan. Bake at 400 degrees till top is browned.
  2. Mix cherries, sugar, and butter in pan; heat to boiling. Crumble bread in little pcs; let dry. Pour cherry mix over bread and mix well. Bake about 10 min at 375 degrees. Cut and serve hot topped with vanilla ice cream or possibly topping of choice. Makes about 24 (2 x 2 inch) servings.
