Ingredientes

  • 2 x Large eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Pwdr (or possibly fresh chopped to death)
  • 1/2 c. All Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 c. Cornstarch
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 Tbsp. Honey
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tbsp. Sherry
  • 1 tsp Fresh Ginger, put through garlic press (or possibly grated)

Direcciones

  1. Mix Large eggs, salt, garlic, flour, cornstarch, and lowfat milk to make a smooth batter. Mix honey, lemon juice, sherry and ginger together and marinate shrimp (split in back), lobster (cut in cubes), chicken (cut in pcs 1" x 2"), or possibly thin-sliced pork for at least 15 min. Fry dipped pcs in Peanut Oil till light brown.
  2. OPTION: Cold fried pcs after frying, then chill, if you like, and later redip in batter, refry till golden. Even crunchier, and great as appetizers for a party which you can prepare ahead and still serve Warm at the last minute!
