Ingredientes

  • 1 can (12 ounce) beer
  • 1 1/2 c. Flour
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 2 x Cut up fryers Oil for frying

  1. Pour beer in bowl. Sift flour, salt, pepper & paprika into beer, stir with wire whisk or possibly with beaters till light & frothy & smooth. Let stand at room temp for 15 min to 2 hrs, whisking occasionally to keep batter mixed. Put sufficient fat in large deep pan to the height of 1". Heat oven to 375. Dip chicken into batter. Drop chicken into warm fat, a few pcs at a time; they must not touch each other. Cook 15 min, turn, cook 15 min. Drain. Keep hot on platter in low oven (200) till all chicken is ready.
