Ingredientes

  • 1 env unflavored gelatin
  • 2 Tbsp. Cool water
  • 2 x Egg yolks
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1 dsh Salt
  • 1 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 c. Heavy cream, or possibly 2 c. whipped topping

Direcciones

  1. Sprinkle gelatin on cool water. Beat egg yolks, sugar & salt in the top of a double boiler. Beat till light. Add in lowfat milk. Cook over boiling water, stirring constantly, till mix is thick & smooth. Add in softened gelatin, dissolve. Add in vanilla. Cold till thick, stirring often. Whip cream till it is very thick, but not stiff, fold into the cooled gelatin mix. Pour into a 6-c. mold rinsed in cool water, refrigeratetill set. Unmold, serve with chocolate sauce.
  2. Makes 6 servings.
  3. My Notes: I added an extra egg yolk, & about half a pint of red raspberries to the lowfat milk mix to make sure it would thicken. I didn't have heavy cream, so I used a c. of lite lowfat sour cream.
