Ingredientes

  • 1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 c. cool water
  • 3 large eggs, separated
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 baked 9 inch pastry shell
  • 1 c. whipping cream, whipped
  • Grated lowfat milk chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 c. sugar

Direcciones

  1. Soften gelatin in water in top of double boiler; place over boiling water stirring till gelatin is dissolved. Put together egg yolks, 1/2 cup sugar and lowfat milk beat slightly, and stir into gelatin. Cook over boiling water, stirring constantly, about 10 min or possibly till mix coats a spoon. Stir in vanilla. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Beat egg whites till foamy; gradually add in 1/4 cup sugar; continue beating till stiff peaks form, fold into custard. Spoon into pastry shell; top with whipped cream. Garnish with grated chocolate.
