Ingredientes

  • 1 Tbsp. Shortening
  • 1/4 lb Kosher salami, cubed
  • 1 sprg thyme
  • 1 x Onion, sliced Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 2 c. Tomatoes
  • 1 c. Uncooked long grain rice
  • 1 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1/4 c. Green pepper, chopped
  • 1 x Bay leaf
  • 1 sprg parsley, chopped
  • 1 x Clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 lb Kosher smoked sausage.
  • 1 1/4 c. Tomato juice

Direcciones

  1. Heat shortening in heavy saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour, salami, and green pepper. Simmer 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  2. Add in remaining ingredients except rice. Bring to boil. Add in rice to liquid.
  3. Cover and simmer for 40 minutes. till all liquid is absorbed.
