- Heat margarine in heavy saucepan; add in onion and leek; saute/fry for 5 min
- (without browning). Add in lettuce and peas. Mix flour with chicken broth and add in to vegetables. Add in water, salt and pepper. Simmer 5 min after it comes to boil. Cold. Add in cream and put through blender.
- Return to saucepan and reheat to serve.
- Serves 6.
