Beaujolais Buttermilk Coffee Cake

Ingredientes

  • 2 c. Flour (+2 Tbsp)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. Sugar
  • 3/4 c. salad oil
  • 1/2 c. walnuts minced
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1 x egg
  • 1 c. buttermilk

Direcciones

  1. Combine the flour, salt, 1 tsp. cinnamon, ginger, sugar (both white and brown), and oil. Mix with an electric beater till well blended.
  2. Take out 3/4 c. of the mix for the topping. To this mix add in the nuts and an additional 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and mix well. Set aside.
  3. To the remaining mix add in the soda, baking pwdr, egg and buttermilk. Mix till smooth. Pour into a 9" x 13" greased pan. Sprinkle on the topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 min.
