Ingredientes

  • 1 Tbsp. Diet margarine, or possibly margarine
  • 2 c. Green cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1 sm Onion, diced
  • 1/2 lb Grnd beef
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Pepper Other spices, such as cumin, as desired
  • 1 Tbsp. Flour
  • 10 ounce Refrigerated white bread loaf, (Pipin' Warm)
  • 1 x Egg, beaten Caraway seeds Horseradish sauce

Direcciones

  1. One hour before serving, in 10" skillet over Medium heat, in margarine, cook cabbage and onion till coated with butter. Cover and cook over Low heat for 10 min. Add in grnd beef to skillet. Cook till not pink.
  2. Reduce heat. Add in salt, pepper and other spices, if using. Add in 1 Tbsp.
  3. flour. Cook for 1 minute. Stir constantly. Remove from heat. Preheat oven to 350 . On lightly floured surface, cut bread loaf into 4 equal pcs.
  4. With floured rolling pin, roll each pcs to 6x4" oval. Brush edges with 1 beaten egg. Spoon 1/4 of beef mix on half of each oval. Fold dough over filling. Healthy pinch edge to seal. Brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle with caraway seeds. Bake for 25 min utnil golden. Serve hot with horseradish sauce.
