Receta Beef & Bacon Stroganoff
Beef & Bacon Stroganoff
My family LOVES stroganoff, and I do too, however, the long cooking time of the original recipe is often not something that fits into my schedule. This recipe is literally a meal in one dish, meat, veggies, pasta–wa-la and a manageable cooking time…
Beef & Bacon Stoganoff
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 pound ground beef-I used the 96/4 variety
- 5 thick-cut bacon strips, chopped
- 1 cup fresh mushrooms-sliced
- 2 garlic cloves- chopped
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 can (14-1/2 ounce) beef broth
- 1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom with roasted garlic soup-undiluted
- 2 tabelspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 5 cups uncooked egg noodles
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese-grated
DIRECTIONS:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook beef, mushrooms, onion and garlic until the beef is no longer pin; drain. Meanwhile, in a seperate skillet, cook the bacon until done; drain and add it to the meat mixture. add broth, soup, Worcestershire sauce, pepper and paprika. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Meanwhile, cook the noodles according to package directions; drain. Stir sour cream and horseradish into beef mixture; heat through (do not boil). serve with noodles. sprinkle with the cheese.
