Beef Fillet In Toasted Coconut

Ingredientes

  • indonesian
  • 500 gm piece beef eye fillet
  • 2 clv garlic crushed
  • 2 tsp grated lemon rind
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 2 tsp grnd coriander
  • 1/2 tsp grnd turmerid
  • 2 tsp palm sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. peanut oil
  • 1/2 c. dessicated coconut
  • 3 x spring onions cut into thin strips

Direcciones

  1. Slice beef thinly flatten slices with a meat mallet if necessary.
  2. Combine garlic lemon rind gingercoriander turmericpalm sugar and 2 Tbsp. of the oil in a bowl.
  3. Add in beef slices toss well to coat.
  4. Leave to stand at least 1 hour.
  5. Heat remaining Tbsp. of oil in a frying pan add in beef stir fry till brown.
  6. Add in coconut and sprmg onlons Stir fry for 1 minute or possibly till brown.
  7. Serve with steamed rice.
  8. Hint. beef fillet will slice more easily if placed into the freezer for about 1 hour before slicing.
  9. Serves 4
