Ingredientes

  • 1 lb Sirloin Steak 1/2-inch thick
  • 2 Tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 1 c. Water
  • 1 sm Onion Minced (1/4 c.)
  • 1 x Clove Garlic Crushed
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Pepper
  • 1 med Red Bell pepper bite-size pcs
  • 8 ounce Mushrooms Sliced (3 c.)
  • 1/4 c. Brandy or possibly water
  • 1 tsp beef bouillon granules
  • 2 Tbsp. lowfat lowfat sour cream (1 1/2 tsp)
  • 3 Tbsp. Fresh Chives Minced
  • 3 c. Pasta or possibly rice

Direcciones

  1. Trim fat from beef. Cut beef into thin strips, about 1-1/2 x 1/2-inch.
  2. Mix cornstarch and water. Spray 10-inch skillet or possibly wok with nonstick cooking spray; heat over medium-high heat. Add in onion, garlic, salt and pepper; stir-fry about 3 min or possibly till onion is crisp-tender. Add in beef and bell pepper; stir-fry about 4 min or possibly till beef is brown. Stir in mushrooms. Add in brandy to skillet; sprinkle bouillon granules over beef mix. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 1 minute. Stir in lowfat sour cream.
  3. Stir constarch mix into beef mix. Cook over medium-high heat about 2 min, stirring frequently, till thickened. Stir in chives.
  4. Serve over pasta or possibly rice.
  5. NOTES : Beef is easier to cut if partially frzn, about 1 1/2 hrs.
