Ingredientes

  • 2 lb Good beef
  • 2 x Yellow onions, peeled and quartered
  • 2 x Green peppers, seeded
  • 2 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 1/4 c. Zinfandel
  • 1/2 tsp Oregano
  • 4 x Bay leaves
  • 3 x Garlic cloves, crushed Salt and pepper to taste

Direcciones

  2. Cut the beef into 1 1/4 inch cubes. Cut the vegetables into 1 inch squares.
  3. Put all the ingredients in a large stainless steel bowl and marinate for about 2 hrs, tossing occasionally.
  4. Alternate the vegetables and meat on skewers. Broil till lightly browned, about 15 min, turning once during the process.
  5. Serve this with Pasta Bagna Cuada (p. ref), along with Pan-Fried Broccoli
  6. Wine Suggestion: Zinfandel
  7. Serves 4-6
