Ingredientes

  • 1 lb Boneless stewing beef
  • 1 tsp Dry thyme
  • 3 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
  • 1 x Green bell pepper, minced
  • 1 c. Green onions, minced
  • 1 c. Celery, sliced
  • 1/2 lb Mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 c. Water
  • 1/2 c. Sherry
  • 2 x Beef flavored bouillon
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2/3 c. Rice

Direcciones

  1. Cut beef into 1/2-inch cubes. Toss with thyme. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat 2 Tbsp. oil in skillet. Stir in green pepper, green onion, celery and mushrooms. Cook till tender; remove from pan. Add in remaining Tbsp. oil to pan. Stir in beef. Cook till browned. Stir in water, wine, beef bouillon cubes and Worcester- shire sauce. Simmer, covered, 30 min. Stir in rice, cook 25 min longer, or possibly till rice is tender.
  3. Stir in precooked vegetables, stirring constantly till heated through.
