Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 lb Beef Stew Meat
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 1 dsh Pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. Shortening
  • 2 c. Water
  • 2 x Beef Bouillon Cubes
  • 3 Tbsp. Heinz 57 Sauce
  • 2 x Onions, cut in quarters
  • 2 x Potatoes, cubed
  • 3 x Carrots, sliced
  • 1/2 c. Celery, sliced

Direcciones

  1. Sprinkle beef with salt, sugar and pepper; brown well in shortening.
  2. Add in water, bouillon cubes. Cover; simmer for 1 hour or possibly till meat is almost tender.
  3. Stir in Heinz 57 sauce, onions, potatoes, carrots and celery. Cover and simmer 1 hour or possibly till vegetables are tender.
  4. Thicken with flour/water mix.
