Ingredientes

  • 2 lbs. top round (or possibly any other lean beef)
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 1 sm. - med. onion, grated
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 3/4 pound sliced mushrooms
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • 1/4 c. white cooking wine
  • 1 c. lowfat sour cream

Direcciones

  1. Cut steak into 1/2" slices, lb. them with a mallet till thin; set aside.
  2. Heat 1 Tbsp. butter in pan. Saute/fry 1 small to medium grated onion for about 2 min. Saute/fry the beef for about 2 min. Turn so which it will be browned proportionately. Remove and keep it warm. Add in 2 Tbsp. butter to pan; stir and saute/fry in the butter 3/4 pounds mushrooms. Add in the beef, season with salt and pepper to taste, nutmeg, basil. Add in white cooking wine and lowfat sour cream and heat but don't boil. Serve with egg noodles.
