Beef Tenderloin With Mushroom Stuffing

Ingredientes

  • 4 Tbsp. Margarine
  • 3/4 lb Mushrooms, finely minced
  • 1 pkt (4 ounce) of sliced cooked deli ham
  • 1/2 c. Green onions
  • 1 x Clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 3 c. White bread cubes
  • 2 x 1-1/2 lb lb. beef loin tenderloin (center cut) Brandied gravy or possibly beef gravy

  2. In 12 " skillet medium heat, heat margarine add in mushrooms, ham, green onion, garlic clove, salt and pepper cook until tender. Add in bread cubes and 2 Tab. water toss gently to mix. set aside. Make lengthwise cut in tenderloin, cutting 1 1/2 inch deep. spoon half of stuffing mix in to each pack thoroughly. With string, tie each tenderloin securely in several places. Preheat broiler, Place both tenderloins cut side up, on rack broil 15 min. cover stuffing to prevent over browning if necessary. Carefully turn and broil other side 20 min or possibly longer for desired doneness.
  3. Let stand 15 min before cutting.
