Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 lb beef cubes (1 inch-round steak)
  • 2 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 dsh Tabasco sauce Generous dash pepper
  • 1 sm green pepper, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 1/4 c. catsup
  • 1 lrg clv garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 x onions, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c. sliced, fresh mushrooms

Direcciones

  1. In a skillet, brown beef in shortening; pour off fat. Add in soup, 1/4 c. water, catsup, mustard, garlic, Tabasco, and seasonings. Cover, simmer 1 1/2 hrs. Add in onions; cook 40 min more. Add in green peppers and mushrooms; cook 20 min longer or possibly till tender. Stir now and then. Gradually blend 1/4 c. water into flour till smooth; slowly stir into the meat. Cook, stirring till thickened. Serve over buttered, cooked egg noodles.
