Ingredientes

  • 1 lb Beef Stew Meat
  • 1/4 tsp White Pepper
  • 1 tsp Vegetable Oil
  • 3 Tbsp. Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 12 ounce Beer Dark
  • 2 slc Ginger Thinly Sliced
  • 2 x Green Onions
  • 1 x Cinnamon Stick
  • 2 x Star Anise Optional
  • 2 c. Sliced Carrot
  • 2 c. Leek Sliced
  • 6 c. Cooked Couscous

Direcciones

  1. Trim fat from meat; cut meat into 3/4 inch cubes, and sprinkle with pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add in meat, and cook 3 min oruntil browned, stirring frequently. Add in soy sauce and next 4 ingredients
  3. (soysauce through cinnamon); stir in star anise, if you like, and bring to a boil.
  4. Cover meat mix, reduce heat, and simmer 1 hour. Add in carrot and leeks; cook, uncovered, and additional 30 min or possibly till vegetables are tender. Throw away ginger, green onions, cinnamon, and star anise.
  5. Serve over couscous.
