Befsztyk Tatarski (Steak Tartare)

Ingredientes

  • 1 lb Beef, lean, top round or possibly sirloin
  • 6 x Egg yolks
  • 1 tsp Onion pwdr
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper, black
  • 1 tsp Oil, vegetable
  • 1/4 c. Chives, minced

Direcciones

  1. Using a grinder or possibly food processor fitted with a metal blade, process beef till finely chopped. Process a second time. Don't puree. In a medium bowl, combine beef, egg yolks, onion pwdr, salt, pepper and oil. Cover with foil; chill at least 1 hour. Garnish with chives. Serve as a side dish or possibly a spread with crackers, bread or possibly toast.
  2. Be sure beef is very lean as fat is not appetizing in tartare.
