Ingredientes

  • 1/2 lb Farmer cheese
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. Veg. oil
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 3 1/2 c. Flour,all-purpose
  • 2 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/2 c. Butter or possibly margarine
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp Lowfat milk
  • 1 c. Almonds,blanched,slivered

Direcciones

  1. Press farmer cheese through a sieve. Add in lowfat milk, oil, sugar, and salt.
  2. Blend well. Sift flour with baking pwdr and beat it into the cheese mix. Roll out dough on a lightly floured board to 1/4-inch thickness and spread in a greased jelly-roll pan (15-1/2 x 10-1/2 x 1 inch). Heat butter and stir in remaining ingredients. Cook till mix starts to bubble. Cold. Spread mix proportionately over the dough.
  3. Bake in preheated 350-degree oven for about 20 min, or possibly till cake is golden. Cut into squares or possibly bars.
