Ingredientes

  • 2 quart Canned peach slices
  • 3/4 c. Sugar
  • 1/4 c. Water
  • 3 tsp Corn starch
  • 2 c. Flour
  • 3 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 4 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 6 Tbsp. Lard or possibly butter
  • 3/4 c. Canned lowfat milk cut half-strength with water (just sufficient to moisten dough)

Direcciones

  1. FILLING: Dissolve corn starch in water; add in mix to peaches and juice in a large, hot Dutch oven; stir well; sprinkle sugar on top; cover and allow to simmer lightly while topping is prepared.
  2. TOPPING: On a floured board, turn out a soft dough; pat down to 1/2" thick; cut into strips 1/2" wide and place criss-cross atop peach mix; cover and cook approximately 20 min till golden. Serve with Campfire Coffee.
  3. Serves approximately 18.
