"Best Ever" Caramel Corn

Ingredientes

  • 4 quarts. freshly popped corn
  • 2 c. dry roasted peanuts
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2/3 c. butter
  • 2/3 c. dark corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees. In large shallow roasting pan spread popcorn and nuts in large 1 1/2 qt saucepan. Stir together sugar, corn syrup and butter. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly till mix boils. Continue cooking for 5 min without stirring. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and soda. Pour over popcorn and nuts and stir to coat. Bake for 1 hour. Stir every 15 min. Cold; break apart.
