Ingredientes

  • 1 c. onion, minced
  • 2 x cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 1/2 lb grnd chuck
  • 1/4 lb Italian sausage
  • 8 ounce Vermicelli pasta, cooked
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 can tomato sauce, (15 ounce.)
  • 3 1/2 c. tomato juice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 lb Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 16 ounce Ricotta cheese

Direcciones

  1. Brown onion, garlic, beef, and sausage in a large skillet. Drain grease and add in the tomato sauce and juice, salt, pepper, and oregano. Simmer for 1 hour. (Sauce should thicken considerably.) Cook Vermicelli and drain.
  2. First, layer 1/2 pasta in a buttered glass dish (9x13). Next, layer 1/2 of the Ricotta cheese, 1/2 Mozzarella cheese, and 1/2 meat sauce. Repeat, and top with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 min.
