Biscotti Regina (Sesame Cookies)

Ingredientes

  • 8 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. baking pwdr
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 c. shortening
  • 4 Large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 c. sesame seeds

Direcciones

  1. Sift together flour, sugar, baking pwdr and salt. Cut in shortening till the mix resembles a coarse cornmeal. Stir in the slightly beaten Large eggs, vanilla, and lowfat milk gradually while mixing. Continue to mix adding lowfat milk slowly till smooth and soft. Break dough into small pcs and roll each piece between the palms of hands to create 2 inch lengths. Flatten slightly and roll in sesame seeds. Place on greased cookie sheets about 1/2 inch apart. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 min, or possibly till cookies turn brown. Makes about 12 dozen cookies.
