Biscuit Wrapped Meat Loaf

Ingredientes

  • 2 pound grnd beef
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 2/3 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • Biscuit dough

Direcciones

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix beef, Large eggs, lowfat milk, bread crumbs, onion, salts, mustard, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Shape this mix firmly into an 8 x 5 inch loaf and set in a shallowing baking dish. Bake for 1 hour, uncovered, spooning off the fat.
  2. Mix biscuit dough and roll it on a floured surface into a 12 inch circle, then cut it into four equal parts. Alternate cheese slices and biscuit dough on surface of meat, overlappping the round edges of dough over the points of the cheese slices. Prick the dough with fork; bake 15 min or possibly till golden. Serve with ketchup.
