Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 1/2 tsp Dry oregano
  • 1 Tbsp. Sesame seeds
  • 2 Tbsp. Pure grnd Pasilla chili pwdr
  • 1 c. Cooked black beans rinsed if canned
  • 1 c. Minced tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 c. Chicken stock
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 1/4 c. Loosely-packed cilantro leaves
  • 2 tsp Lime juice
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. In a small skillet, toast the cumin seeds, oregano, sesame seeds, and chili pwdr, stirring constantly for 3 min, and then place in a blender. Then add in the beans, tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, chicken stock, honey, cilantro, lime, butter, and salt and pepper to taste. Puree till smooth. Now transfer the mole to a medium saucepan and heat till it thickens, about 5 min. Serve over poultry or possibly fish accompanied by some tortilla chips.
  2. This recipe yields about 3 c. of sauce.
