Ingredientes

  • 2 c. Sifted flour
  • 2 3/4 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2/3 c. Shortening
  • 1 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 3 x Large eggs, separted
  • 3/4 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 1/2 c. Grnd black walnuts

Direcciones

  1. Sift flour, baking pwdr and salt together. Cream shortening with sugar and vanilla till fluffy. Add in beaten egg yolks and beat thoroughly. Add in sifted dry ingredients and lowfat milk alternately in small amounts, beating well after each addition. Add in nuts and mix in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into greased pans and bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 min.
  2. Makes 2 (9inch) layers.
