You can whip up this decadent, guilt-free Blackberry Breakfast in no time at all.
Blackberry Breakfast
- ⅓ cup frozen blackberries (any berry will do)
- ½ Tablespoon Honey
- ⅓ cup granola (I used Kashi Go Lean)
- Optional: A dollop of Plain Greek Yogurt (Like Fage or Chobani)
Combine all the ingredients in a microwave safe bowl and heat for 30 to 45 seconds.
Serve with yogurt.

I feel so good about this breakfast. It’s healthy, delicious, warms you up and contains no chocolate. That’s huge for me. I thought about it, really, I did. I mean, some chocolate chips would make a great addition to this dish. If I add the chocolate, I promise it won’t be for breakfast. Maybe for an afternoon snack or as my after dinner dessert.
And remember, any berry will do.
As a matter of fact any granola will do, just try to keep it on the healthier side. Try grape nuts or do I dare say quinoa? Hey, I have some quinoa that I bought that’s been sitting on the shelf just waiting for me to give it a try. Did I mention I have never eaten quinoa before? I know. It’s about time, I promise soon.
